Interesting Facts About "Clay"
- Lee & Rita (Clay's parents in the film) are actually Chad's parents.
- The script was written by Eric while working at TPG Telemanagement. (During lunch hours of course)
- The title character Clay was named after Clay County, South Dakota. Eric & his wife Angela lived there for over a year just after they were married in 2000.
- Cast member Julia Hansen's fiancé, Brad Houston, plays Mark Flemming in RoomMate Productions, "Halfway Point".
- In "Clay", Nikki & Sally work at Muldoon's Pub. This is the same pub in "Halfway Point". If you look close, you can see Sally (Amy Barron) as a waitress in the film.
- The location where most of the "interview" scenes took place is Sean & Cameron's (Chad's) apartment which was used in "Halfway Point"
- Out of the ten cast members, three work at TPG Telemanagement (where the MFDesktop office scenes are filmed for "Halfway Point") which include: Eric Dwight, Reggie Clark, and Julia Hansen.
- Clay's brother & sister are played by real life husband & wife Zach & Lisa Barrientos.
- All of Clay's scenes were filmed at the home of Adam Koch. Adam is this site's webmaster.
- Two versions of "Clay" were made. (1) A ten miunute version for the Hot Shops Film Festival. (2) A full length version which is about 25 minutes long.
